Random happenings!

Things around the Duley house have been pretty busy lately! Man, I haven't posted in a while.... My goodness, I think I start every single post like that! BUT, I am determined to actually start blogging quite a bit this year! No, it isn't going to be a new years resolution, because it seems like making a resolution, for me, never ends well.... I don't know if I have ever kept a resolution, except for a few that I made just so I would be able to say that I kept one. Like one that I remember was, "Eat lots of junk food," or something like that! :) but this year I am really going to try to blog more... For real!

Anyway- We had a really good Christmas! On Xmas eve we spent the night at Mimi and papa's, then Sunday morning(Xmas day) we opened presents there, had brunch, and went to church! We had a BLAST! Then we headed over to the Duley's house! We got there, opened presents, and then ate the dinner/lunch grandmama had made! Yum! then, everyone hung out, and, unfortunately, I fell asleep on the couch! :) Everything about our Christmas was great!!!! The only downside, was that it only lasted a day! Lol, jkm:) :) :) :)


On the 28th nana and papa John came up to our house! We opened presents, and I got a Garmin!! The next day, papa John taught me how to make gumbo! It was really fun! Then, mom, Sarah, and I, went for a run to try out my Xmas present! They stayed the 28th, 29th, and then left the 30th. We all had lots of fun!



On new year's eve, we really just hung out... In the morning, we woke up and met coach Greer and his daughter, Caroline, in town to go for a run! Afterwards, we hung out at the coffee shop while mom and coach Greer ran 12! Later that night, We had a bonfire, and then at 9:00 we went to George's and got strawberry biscuits! Then we got home we watched a movie, but everyone fell asleep in the middle! I really tried to stay up, but we were watching the movie upstairs in bed, so I ended up staying up until about 11:30, then waking up at about 12:30! Oh well:).

January 3rd was Sarah's 12th birthday!! For her birthday we did a princess play, that she had written her self! We practiced, and practiced, but it turned out really well! Happy birthday, Sarah!!

Today, I got dressed to run, and after I walked out the door, I realized it was snowing!!!! I ran literally 2 minutes, then came back to the house and put on more clothes! It didn't stick, but it snowed for at least 2 hours! It was a pretty good snow, for Mississippi, that is! :)
